STEP 1 - Choose between the different models

Now that you have decided to make the move, it's time to chose which model works best for you. All models have balanced & unbalanced outputs.

 

The ARC-10U is an unbalanced model which means that it has unbalanced inputs. If you are not located near a transmitter, and do NOT have your studio in a high RF environment, then you will be alright. The ARC-10U does NOT include the USB channel, which means that you do lose that feature set. We highly recommend upgrading to the ARC-10UP for the reason that it does include a USB channel.

 

The ARC-10UP is an unbalanced model which means that it has unbalanced inputs. If you are not located near a transmitter, and do NOT have your studio in a high RF environment, then you will be alright. The ARC-10UP DOES include the USB channel, which means that you do get all the advantages of the USB channel feature.

 

The ARC-10BP is the Balanced model which means that it has Balanced RJ45 inputs. If you are located near a transmitter, or your studio is in a high RF environment, then this is the model for you. The ARC-10BP DOES include the USB channel, which means that you do get all the advantages of the USB channel feature.
